“This year we are incorporating the Bivystick into the required equipment for all of our backcountry guides.  The Bivystick ensures that our entire team is able to communicate well beyond the range of our radios. Bivystick satellite communication allows our team to communicate in an efficient manner for day to day operations and especially in an emergent situation.  This gives me peace of mind as the Mountain Ops director, for the safety of our customers and our valued employees. To boot, having a device that can track the location of guides, snowcats and helicopters will help our team tremendously. As an added bonus the Bivystick can charge cellular devices multiple times throughout the day.  We are stoked to be involved with such a great company and product!”

Utah is such a wonderful state with amazing offerings year round. Although we are missing the powder and the chill in the air, Utah always provides a beautiful Summer Season. One of our favorite things to do in the Summer is to visit the Utah Olympic Park in Park City. The park was built for the 2002 Olympic Games which hosted bobsleigh, luge, and Nordic ski jumping. Now, the park is a world class training center for Olympic athletes and aspiring Olympians.

Inside the park, travelers can explore the Olympic Museum, watch the athletes train, explore the ropes, zip line and more!

Happy June Powder Hogs!

Although we are very excited for the Summer season, June signifies we are six months out from the season we love the most, POWDER SEASON!
The past two months have been busy for us here at Whisper Ridge. Our crew is working hard on final touches of closing out yurts for the Summer so we can ensure our guests are cozy in the Winter. All of our furniture and items are safely stored and labeled to their assigned yurt so we can have a smooth transition when we re-decorate them in the late Fall.
We also re-designed bathrooms and are starting to make final touches on them so, during a nasty storm, you still have the comforts of home.
Here shortly we will be clearing more roads so we can open up more of the mountain that will gain more access for steeper and deeper slopes.
We get a lot of phone calls about our weather patterns in January. Thanks to the great information from weatherspark.com, listed below is some great information to help you book your trip.
