Coming to play at Whisper Ridge? The following Recommended Gear List and Yurt Village Packing Lists can help you know what to bring on your trip. If you have any questions about additional or specialized equipment, please call our support.

Recommended Gear List

The following recommended gear list provides prospective clients an idea of what to bring (and what not to bring) to be comfortable on a typical day of Heli-Skiing (or boarding), Cat-Skiing, or Snowmobiling at Whisper Ridge.

  • Skis (rentals available), Snowboard
  • Ski Boots, Snowboard Boots
  • Ski Goggles
  • Ski Jacket
  • Ski Pants
  • Gloves
  • Helmet
  • Stocking Cap
  • Wool Socks
  • Warm Layers

Optional Gear List

We get a lot of questions about optional gear people may want to bring on their trip. Here are a few of the most common requests that are typically ok.

  • Beacons (beacons provided for each guest)
  • Avy Gear (vehicles equipped with shovels, etc)
  • Ski Pack (smaller pack if possible)
  • Anything else you like to ski/board in (within reason!)

Yurt Packing List

Staying the night in our epic Yurt Village? Here is a recommended packing list to make sure you’re comfortable, warm, and happy when you’re here. Remember, there is A LOT of snow at the Yurt Village!

  • Snow boots  
  • Toiletry kit
  • Towell
  • Headlamp
  • Slippers
  • Sweet Jammies
  • Ear plugs (recommend for light sleepers)
  • Bathing Suit (optional, for hot tub)
